From the Chair

Collaboratively administrate empowered markets via plug-and-play networks. Dynamically procrastinate B2C users after installed base benefits. Dramatically visualize customer directed convergence without revolutionary ROI.

VOICE OF BME TRAFFORD - CHAIR

Khan Mogul

We have been here in Trafford since 2006, representing the voice of BME communities in the borough. We have played a strategic role in partnership with mainstream agencies in ensuring issues relating to BME communities are taken into account when making decisions of investment and development.

Our recent focus on health is crucial, as we have highlighted inequalities in health provision and also take-up of health services by BME communities. We have participated in the Trafford Partnership and the Diverse Communities Forum. We have also been an active member of the National Cancer Awareness Campaign.

We are grateful to our funders who have enabled us to play an effective role in delivering our services. I am also very appreciative of the dedication and hard work undertaken by our staff, sessional freelancers, and Volunteers who have collectively contributed to our success over the past 14 years.

Currently, as we are adjusting in unprecedented times due to Covid 19 and working to adapt to remote working, recognising the high effects to the BME community, our health-focused agenda is even more so a priority focus that will continue to promote and encourage improved lifestyles to reduce the levels of impact across our communities.

While the world at this time is gathering more awareness and understanding on the inequalities and injustices that have limited the BME communities from progress, we continue to work together with all our stakeholders to make an impact and a difference to the lives of all BME communities of Trafford.

We have a lot more to offer, and we shall strive during these times to live up to expectations others have of us.

a) Inclusion in investment and development decision-making relating to BME communities

b) Highlighting inequalities in health provision and also take-up of health services by BME communities

c) Participation in the Trafford Partnership and the Diverse Communities Forum

d) Promoting and encouraging improvement in lifestyles to reduce the levels of impact across BME communities

e) Working with stakeholders to make an impact and a difference to the lives of all BME communities across Trafford.
